Alejandro Reyes López was born and raised in Mexico City and moved to Toronto in 2005.
Having worked in some of the best restaurants for almost 17 years in Toronto - Alejandro worked his way up in the kitchen from prep to saucier.
His diligence and commitment to improving his art in the kitchen also proved to be true in his photography practice. Largely a self taught photographer, Alejandro worked on mastering his skills as an image-maker. Not interested in trends, Alejandro’s approach to portraiture, fashion and still life is classic. Whether he is working in natural light or with a soft box in the studio, his use of light is subtle and natural. He wants the beauty of his subject to shine.
Fluent in both Spanish and English, Alejandro is available for freelance and commissioned work.
